About

Black is Not a Bad Word is a training for employees at all levels of an organization. This training deconstructs the ingrained, commonly held implicit biases that have formed over the course of our lives and replaces them with a more culturally competent and equity-focused lens. This training will largely focus on dissecting the privileged and ablest mindsets that hold organizations back from taking accountability for toxic workplaces.

Foundational Principles:

  • Increase employees awareness and understanding of bias: What it is, and how it presents in the workplace.
  • Increase allyship among teams
  • Develop leaders skill-sets for managing difficult conversations
