Ciera Ellison is the founder of Cice Consulting, LLC. A boutique diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee wellness firm based in Philadelphia. Ciera has almost a decade of experience developing and supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and programs in the workplace. Her areas of expertise include equity audits and assessments, employee resource group (ERG) management, executive coaching, facilitation and training, and employee recruitment and retention.

Ciera has spoken at numerous national conferences to include National Association for Court Management, American Bar Association on Children and Families, and the Statewide Permanency and Adoption Network, and to community organizations on how to support inclusive school environments for youth returning from an out-of-home placement. In addition to her national conference appearances, Ciera has also trained more than 500 youth serving (educators, PO’s, DHS workers, Youth advocates etc.) across the state of Pennsylvania on the detrimental effects of the school-to-prison pipeline on youth, families, and communities.

Ciera was also a founding member of the School District of Philadelphia’s Equity Coalition, and served as the co-lead of the Research, Policy and Systems Change subcommittee where she oversaw and supported the work of over 250 district stakeholders and Reviewed more than a dozen outdated school district policies through an equity lens. Ciera is now the author of a monthly DEI newsletter, and producer of a regular DEI vlog. Ciera graduated with her Masters in Legal Studies in 2018 from Drexel University Kline School of Law, and received her Bachelor's in Social Work from Temple University in 2016.
